My name is Gábor Fehéri, and I have been in the hotel, restaurant and night club business – mostly as an owner – in the last 25 years.
During this period I have opened 11 restaurants and 3 entertainment venues, which all became successful and most of all profitable. In the last 8 years my main job was to manage the Trófea Grill Restaurants founded with my colleagues in 2000. Today there are four such restaurants in Budapest. Each seats 180 people on average, and I am in charge of two, the one in Margit körút and the one in Visegrádi utca. In my spare time, I love to test high quality restaurants in Budapest and across Europe.
We had founded R&H Consulting, because drawing from the experience of 25 years, we knew exactly how crucial discretion was in the hospitality industry, especially if a sale was involved. And, it is good to have some technical, legal, book keeping, financial, and most of all practicality advice for purchasing, selling or running a facility.
It is our overriding objective to contribute to a revival of hospitality in Budapest and Hungary, to help the tired, a bit apathetic owners in selling their outlets with as little ado as possible. And all this to make sure that new managers having creative ambitions, fresh energies, interpersonal relationship and capital continue pulling the slightly creaking carriage of Hungarian hospitality industry.
